A Loan Signing Agent and Signing Agent are the same thing. A Signing Agent is a Notary Public who specializes in facilitating mortgage loan signings. A Signing Agent has taken an extra course on loan closing documents.

Do I need a Loan Signing agent to Notarize my loan documents?

No, any Notary Public can notarize your loan documents. However, a lender, title company, or an escrow service may suggest utilizing a loan signing agent to manage the delivery, signing, and processing of documents, ensuring timely completion.

In some cases, a lender may require the use of a loan signing agent for loan document notarizations, rather than a Notary Public. It's best to check with the lender to determine the specific requirements for the notarization of your loan documents.

What is the difference between notarization and certification?
